Noel is quite a proud young man but his clumsiness generally sets himself out to be a fool. It's quite well known amongst the figures that place themselves around Noel, that although he tries to be a sensible, stern lad, he's just a big softy at the core. Despite his best efforts he's awkward and childish at his best, though he would never tell a soul.

Noel was the first and only child to his parents. Growing up in an environment where he was always pushed to be better than his best, because it wasn't good enough. Going through home schooling then boarding school, he couldn't seem to make his parents proud no matter what he did. Noel figured the only way he could do that was by going through the ranks and pushing himself into an authoritative position.
So, despite the fact that he had never worked alongside a demon before, he was drafted into D.A.M.M.E.D. with the hope of either making his parents proud, or finding something more important to direct his life.
